My friend, Caryn Morgan, writes regularly on her well-researched, informative, thought-provoking Substack: Thoughts of a Citizen. Today she reminded me, and her other readers to get out and VOTE. So, thanks to her, I will also be posting to my blog daily, with a few little reminders and tips as well!

Have you heard? There’s an election coming up in November. I believe it’s essential to elect someone other than he who must not be named, Cheeto Mussolini, the orange menace, drumpf, whatever you prefer to call the former president / felon / grifter / compulsive liar / sexual predator / future-authoritarian / fake fundamentialist X-tian.

As a citizen of the United States of America, one of your duties is to participate in shaping the future of our country, using your voice through voting in federal, state, and local elections. You could also help others to register to vote, provide rides to those who need assistance, volunteer on phone banks, or post to a rarely-read blog page about how important it is to keep 45 out of office.
