Solar RV – A/K/A My Dream Home
https://www.treehugger.com/cars/electric-rv-powered-solar-dethleffs-ehome.html

I bought an RV. I’m selling and donating all of the possessions I can in order to move out of my apartment and into my new home on wheels. I woke up the other morning, heart thumping, mind racing, wondering, “What was I thinking?” Was I thinking? Was I PMS-ing? Why at 52 am I still experiencing significant mood-swings and acne? That’s a whole other topic.

I bought an RV, which is now parked out of town. I received a $50 parking ticket for leaving it on a public street in Fort Collins. Apparently Fort Collins is becoming as snooty as Boulder and can’t have recreational vehicles parked on ANY CITY STREET anywhere.

I bought an RV and have yet to learn how to start the furnace, switch between furnace and battery, deal with the black, grey, and clear water system, uhhh… back the monster up successfully without assistance. So many questions. Can I sleep in it without heat during these winter months? Stay tuned. I’ll find out next week. The experiment really begins after Friday, when I will have moved everything out of the apartment and most things into the RV.

I bought an RV and will be living in Colorado Springs first, then Albuquerque, then Scottsdale, and a few placed in between. I cannot WAIT to share my experiences with this adventure. I’ll also be stopping to visit online learning teams here and there, to see how our processes compare. I look forward to meeting some interesting experts in distance education and eLearning.

Here are some examples of RVs that I did not buy.

Ciao for now!
